The Migdalia Rubio Foundation offers scholarships and provides school-related necessities to economically disadvantaged elementary and high school students in Tijuana. The scholarships include annual tuition, uniforms, books and school supplies, transportation to and from school, lunch, attire for special events, and sports equipment.
The Tijuana-based non-profit Migdalia Rubio Foundation reaches out to the at-risk youth of the city through its annual programs. Beginning this summer, Niños de la Linea removes children from Tijuana’s bartering line and offers them an opportunity to attend classes and workshops. Since 2011, annual Summer Camps and Holiday Dinners have been provided to hundreds of needy families in Tijuana, Mexico.
