Steve Fagin’s Cell Phone Stories at LACMA

Cell Phone Stories is a project commissioned by the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and led by artist . The project uses mobile phone technology to circulate a variety of narrative works about the museum and its audience. Cell Phone Stories involves the voices and texts of artists, actors, and writers who take the participant on a journey through the museum highlighting and reinterpreting the experience in novel ways.

Featuring personalities as diverse as actor Rainn Wilson, artist Kianga Ford, writer Barry Yourgrau, and fashion designers Kate and Laura Mulleavy of Rodarte, Cell Phone Stories is designed to unfold primarily via mobile phone.
