The haudenschildGarage collaborated with The Periscope Project on the 2012 Summer Urban Laboratories providing scholarships for high school students from the Monarch School and ARTS (A Reason to Survive).
The haudenschildGarage supported the second annual Great Hall Project Series with Katie Holten at the New Orleans Museum of Art. Holten mapped the ever-evolving boundaries or “edges” between land and water in Southern Louisiana through a group of large-scale drawings.
The haudenschildGarage supports A Reason To Survive (ARTS). ARTS is nonprofit organization dedicated to healing, inspiring, and empowering youth in San Diego facing life challenges by providing innovative arts-based programs, education, and employment opportunities.
The haudenschildGarage supported SOMA’s 2012 residency program that brought artists Anna Sew Hoy and Allen Ruppersberg as well as architect Teddy Cruz to their Mexico City space for public lectures and studio visits.
